Chaosaint: Australian Alternative Groove Metallers Release Second Single Knives Are Drawn As Lyric Video

Australian Alternative Groove Metal band Chaosaint releases today a lyric video for the second single Knives Are Drawn. The song is on Triple j Unearthed Metal Charts Number 1 . You can find the song on the Triple J Unearthed page: https://www.triplejunearthed.com/artist/chaosaint

Chaosaint says about their single Knives Are Drawn: “Knives was one of the more recent songs we wrote. It’s a five-minute ode to the evil that people are capable of especially during the breakdown of a marriage or relationship. Pantera and Machine Head were huge influences on us and we tried to combine a bit of that signature groove metal swagger with a bit of a Lamb Of God vibe thrown in for good measure.”

Chaosaint state about the EP “We recorded the EP over various periods dating back to 2016 in the spare room of my house. Originally we intended to release a full-length album- Chris came down and we recorded drums for 11 songs. The project almost seemed cursed, the final mixes were almost complete and a power spike fried my PC and we lost most of the recorded material- even the backup drives died. We were able to salvage some of the original drum tracks but had to re-record the guitars, vocals and bass- I’ve since learned my lesson and invested in some cloud storage as well!”

Unable to play live to promote the release due to current restrictions on live music due to the COVID 19 pandemic, the band are already working on material for a full-length album with a 2021 release date and also intend to release more material from the initial lost recording sessions later this year.

Chaos is coming!

Accidental President: Australian Alternative Hard Rockers release self-titled debut album on 1 July

Accidental President are a female fronted Alt-Rock 3 piece playing their own brand of hard rock mixed heavily with goth and metal influences – with a theatrical flair. The band is set to release their self titled debut album on Wednesday, 1 July 2020. Today, the band is thrilled to reveal a brand new music video Rotten Child, to offer a taste of what will hit you.

Accidental President says about Rotten Child: “Reflecting on childhood, remembering the different perceptions people had, longing to fit in, to integrate, but ultimately feeling outcast.”

Currently composed of Bethany Neville on lead vocals, Dave Ben Lee on Guitars, and Leon Cadden on Drums, Accidental President is at their peak performance. Each band member brings in their own prized talents. In fact, Dave earned a fellowship from London College of Music in Electric Guitar, Leon has been playing drums in successful bands for too many years to count, and Bethany brings in an unmatched vocal talent that has been praised by fans and critics alike.

If their musical talents don’t immediately captivate you, their live performance will. Each live show is packed full of visual stimulation. A rapidly growing fanbase locks in to see the spectacle. From creative costumes to an in your face stage show, Accidental President is not a band you want to miss live. The press agrees:

“A hard rock, gothed out, an extravaganza of a live show that music dreams are made of” The Music Producer

“Stadium-rending riffs, crushingly dramatic builds and a hard echoing and choral vocal. Bold and struck by a furious passion for that original rock ‘n’ roll carnage, these performers are impossible to ignore.” Happy Mag

If not obvious by the name, Accidental President is a band that wants to share their ethos of social awareness. This is especially relevant in our current times of political upheaval and inequalities around the world. The band connects with their listeners on a level much greater than just the music.

Chaosaint: Australian Alternative Groove Metallers to Release New EP In The Name Of on June 19th

Australian Alternative Groove Metal band Chaosaint is set to release their debut EP In The Name Of coming Friday, 19 June 2020. They reveal today artwork and tracklist (see below). Chaosaint released a lyric video, Darkness Following, to offer a taste of what will hit you. Also, the band released the song Knives Are Drawn on Triple j Unearthed which you can find here: https://www.triplejunearthed.com/artist/chaosaint

Chaosaint says about their single Darkness Following: “It’s a song about how no matter how hard you try, your hardest and darkest emotions are always with you. You can run away, but your problems stay with you until you confront them or alternatively carry them your entire life.”

Chaosaint want “to channel some of our 80’s era metal roots on this track. Growing up listening to Metallica, Ozzy, Iron Maiden and Motorhead, we were always fans of the whole energy and driving rhythms behind most of the songs from that time. Most of the riffs for the song actually stem from an impromptu jam all the way back in 2007 for another project Shay was involved in at the time. Feeling that the vibe of the song suited the hard rock style we were going for at the conception of this project, we began jamming on this in 2016 and turned it into the fistpumping melodic thrash anthem you hear today.”

Unable to play live to promote the release due to current restrictions on live music due to the COVID 19 pandemic, the band are already working on material for a full-length album with a 2021 release date and also intend to release more material from the initial lost recording sessions later this year.

Chaos is coming!

Chaosaint are:
Shay Burgess – Vocals / Guitars
Jon Cribb – Rhythm Guitar
Chris Neilson – Drums
Steve Baker – Bass / Backing Vocals

Hailing from Newcastle, Australia, Chaosaint incorporates elements from groove metal and melodic hard rock, into their own brand of Alternative Groove Metal. Aiming to combine driving rhythms with chunky guitar riffs and a vocal style that leans towards melody whilst still maintaining an aggressive edge. The four band members initially formed whilst still at school back in 2001. Originally known as Exhale, the band found a degree of success in the height of the ‘Nu Metal’ craze of the time and played a variety of live shows both in their home region and Sydney including a support spot for power metal band Dungeon at an all-ages show in Penrith in December 2001. Unfortunately, with the relocation of several key members at the end of 2002, the end came all too soon.
