The Tasmanian devils known as Van Diemen are venturing to the mainland on their ‘Gallows ’24’ Tour. It’s their much anticipated first run of interstate shows and will see them bring their ferocious style of melodic black metal to life across Victoria this April.
The sound of Van Diemen embodies the cold and harsh nature of their new habit. Incorporating long lost Tasmanian mythology into the lyrics after moving to the isolated island in 2023. The tone in which these lyrics are delivered is reminiscent of their birthplace of Kiel, Germany. From the motherland to the mainland, they’re about to descend upon their neighbouring state for a handful of hectic shows.
