Everything that STEPFATHER FRED touches becomes rock’n’roll. It will definitely not be different in 2021 and so the fan base can look forward to another great album by this band.
A few weeks ago DIEVERSITY released their first video End Of The Line from the upcoming album Age Of Ignorance. The album is going to be released on November 19th, 2021 at EL PUERTO RECORDS. Now the band from Würzburg (Bavaria, Germany) present their new song The Bitter Taste Of Sin.
The band comments:
The song “The Bitter Taste Of Sin” picks social compulsions out as a central theme. This one is allocated and it is expected of which that everyone holds on to their roles. If someone fights, however, against it and smells of “the sin”, he is punished by society for this.
In the music video, these difficulties are taken up and how someone handles that. The arcade forms like “I feel I’m not alone in this, the darkness welcomes me” The band performs the song in a manner’s dark hole in which it has secluded. They carry on a monologue at it which leads to the inner conflict “in the shadows I can hide myself. Oh what’s become of me?!”. Who am I and what turned me that I must hide from? Like a hammer into your face – the new single Cursed Be The False Promise by Melodic Death Metal outfit EMPYREAL SORROW is taking no prisoners right from the brutal start. The opening track from the upcoming new 4-track EP HARM(ONY) WITHIN is a flaming hate speech against organized religious groups, promising and dictating their blinded followers „the only way“ to salvation and to live. This song breathes the spirit of Black Metal while still maintaining the typical EMPYREAL SORROW style – aggression paired with epic melodies.

Melbourne classic metal trio Shake the Temple are back on the scene, coming in hotter than ever. With their new self-titled album being released on November 16th via Sliptrick Records. Today the band released a video for the single Driven, Shake the Temple have returned with more to say than ever before.
Driven, a track originally written by John Joseph for an Australian reality TV show about a famous race car driver and his girlfriend instead was released with Shake the Temple, being the perfect anthem to go with this much-anticipated album release. “I always felt it could be a cool single and we wanted to capture the band’s energy,” the band’s lead singer John Joseph says when talking about putting together the Driven music video.
Shake the Temple first hit the Australian music scene in 2018, delivering some heavy critiques of today’s society backed with a deep, vintage metal sound. After coming back from a hiatus in 2020, the band are set to pick up where they left off and get back on the live circuit in Australia and overseas.
LIFE OF A HERO is one of the newest bands bursting out the UK modern hard rock scene. With their upcoming album ‘Letting Go’ being released on November 12th via Battlegod Productions, the band are building anticipation with the video for their new single, In My Dreams.
The music video is the 3rd offering from the upcoming album and is a song dedicated to all of the heroes out there. While the video has a military element, powerhouse frontman Russ Grimmett (son of world-renowned frontman for Lionsheart & Grim Reaper, Steve Grimmett) explains that to the band, the term hero goes beyond that: “The latest single IN MY DREAMS is for all the heroes out there in the world, not just the war heroes, but everyone who has made a difference to someone’s life.”
A single that ties into the very inspiration behind the band’s name, LIFE OF HERO is a testament to the inspiration that can be born through adversity. With a mission, in Grimmett’s words, to “please as many ears as possible” the band is taking their own brand of melodic modern hard rock and inspiring as many people as possible to #becomeahero

Gods of Glass is a new single from Idle Ruin’s EP, coinciding with the vinyl/CD release by Bitter Loss Records. This re-release will include 3 bonus tracks. Pre-orders will be available from November 5th. “Gods of Glass is written about narcissists and the people you come across who try to intimidate or threaten you. These people have nothing else going for them besides their need for posturing. At the end of the day, they are insecure cowards. See-through and fragile, no matter the size. Just like glass.”
The accompanying music video is a collage of all our live performances in 2021. Kind of celebrating the slow return of live music after having had it taken away last year.
