Rovar: German Heavy Rockers Release Single/Video Thirst

The Heavy Rock band Rovar from Germany release their single and video Thirst. It comes with the statement: „No one can stop me now!“. Rovar‘s upcoming single sends you on a trip of desire, dreams and dopamine. It describes the sensation of seeing someone for the very first time and still feeling a magical attraction towards them. Intoxicated with a conflicting cocktail of self-doubt and determination, your world becomes blurry. In the end, the choice is yours.

Preserving the high energy level of the young band’s self-titled EP. it also showcases their development from writing riffs to writing songs. Rovar stick to what they do best. Their way of recording songs live as one-takes in one room makes you really hear all the blood and sweat that go into their recordings and brings back memories of the great seventies. Continuing on their mission to make rock music real again, Rovar‘s debut album coming out 2021 is highly anticipated.

Mayhemic: Chile’s Blackened Thrashers Release 7 Vinyl Mortuary of Skeletons on Awakening Records

Concealed in the desolate lands beyond the gates of hell, Mayhemic’s demonic cacophony of Black Thrash has emerged. Hailing from Chile, the demonic quartet provides an offering of power and darkness that is reminiscent of old school Teutonic Thrash Metal, but faster and more obscure.

Mortuary Feast of Skeletons is the second work of the Chilean Blackened Thrash Metal horde Mayhemic. Faster and dark than their first demo, Mortuary Feast of Skeletons is your worst nightmare. 4 songs that talk about death, destruction, and violence with a satanic vibe. Influenced by the old Teutonic thrash metal gems but with South American hate.

Acrolysis/Reaver: Release their new split EP The Nobody Crowd & Lyric Video for the title track

The Nobody Crowd – Acrolysis/Reaver

Acrolysis and Reaver release the remaining tracks from their sophomore split EP, The Nobody Crowd, with their mission-statement title track and the pounding, thought-provoking Visions.

Unlike the previously released singles, these two songs are a collaborative effort between both bands. Konstantine Ana, vocalist/guitarist of Acrolysis and bassist of Reaver says “We wanted to do something unique when doing this joint/split EP. Usually, bands do something like this to save costs and they generally feature a song each. We did that with A Message to You (Acrolysis) and Broken Smoker (Reaver) but we wanted to try and collaborate with each other. We were excited to work with one another to create something together. It’s something that hasn’t been done before to my knowledge so hearing how our styles blend together was an exciting experience.”

Thee two songs, The Nobody Crowd and Visions, are available from 25 November on Bandcamp and all streaming services:

Livewire: Australia’s Speed Metal Sensation Release New Single/Lyric Video Hypnotik Idol

Quickly rising from the local Australian metal scene are LïVEWïRE. Originating from Sydney, Australia, LïVEWïRE are a force to be reckoned with in the world of Heavy Metal music. Wasting no time in hitting hard, heavy and fast with their unique and energetic brand of Speed Metal, the result is an astonishing aural assault that leaves your neck sore, ears ringing and mind wanting more!

LïVEWïRE are formerly known as Fenrir. Original members George Delinicolis (Drums) & Anthony Lerardo (Lead guitar) were going through a few line-up changes, decided to steer away from their previous Folk/Norse themed metal and create a new chapter of the music they love, SPEED METAL!!

Livewire Artwork

With the addition of Christopher Puglia on second lead guitar & Nick Wilks fronting the band on lead vocals and bass, Fenrir soon renamed themselves as the all mighty LïVEWïRE. Creating a fusion of technical melodies, harmonies, heavy fast paced Metal with the additional influence of their love for cheesy Glam Rock, Retro 80s style and NWOTHM!
The band is now releasing a new single, Hypnotik Idol, and an awesome retro themed lyric video. LïVEWïRE say this is only a short insight of what’s to come with their debut album currently in pre-production stages, due to be released in 2021!

All that can be said is that if you are a fan of old school Traditional Heavy Metal, Shredding guitars and Soaring Speed Metal you NEED to keep your eyes peeled for what’s to come with LïVEWïRE in the near future!

Empyreal Sorrow: PRÆY out today & Single/Video The Error Code released

New Melodic Death Metal outfit EMPYREAL SORROW are presenting the third single The Error Code from their upcoming debut album PRÆY. PRÆY is out now and available on the band’s website and Bandcamp page.

With their song The Error Code, the band captures this fragile moment when frustration takes over and you finally step over the razor’s edge. When none of society’s rules apply to you anymore. When it’s just total rage fueling your actions. From the introductory blastbeats over gripping groovy riffs to the monumental chorus – The Error Code breathes EMPYREAL SORROW through every note.

The Error Code is a taste of the album PRÆY. Every track on PRÆY covers the one thing that unites mankind the most – devastation. Be it personal devastation through depression or drugs, be it devastation through senseless wars or blind belief in misleading god-figures. The band took a lot of effort and time to find the right balance between the lyrical and musical content. It surely helps that Empyreal Sorrow’s members all have a long and solid background as a studio and live Metal musicians. Starting in early 2019, the recordings progressed until the midst of 2020. And it was a real „coming to life“ process as the basic ideas from Mastermind Martin Hofbauer underwent a constant change when each member put its personal stamp on arrangement and content. The outcome: A massive beast of a Melodic Death Metal album, on point in terms of production and individuality.

Red County Jail: Germany’s Heavy Band Release Single Never Look Back

The German Modern Vintage Rock band Red County Jail release single Never Look Back. An ode to new beginnings, Never Look Back takes a poetic look at conformity. Nobody dares to take the dive, everything is regulated and leaves little room for freedom. Never Look Back with its key line „go, find your song“ shows why it’s worth veering off the beaten path and „doing your own thing“ – to develop your own identity. Copy and paste is boring as hell! Their new album will be out in 2021 via Bug Valley Records.
