Demonhead have just unleashed a video for their new release Children of the Night. The song is from their upcoming album Black Devil Lies (Bonus Track Edition) which will be released on 3 April via Fastball Music.
After their debut album Bring On The Doom from 2015, Australians Demonhead again present flawless and pumping groove metal on their second album. Black Devil Lies is banging straightforward out of the loudspeakers for the listener to get a real kick out of it. It is obvious that the band has increased their compositional experience since the founding in 2007. The ten songs of the album deal with ups and downs which the band went through in recent years. Composition, lyrics and the general sound are clearly heavier and darker. Best examples are the title song as well as Eyes Of The Insane creating a terrific psychotic atmosphere. However, the band never loses their catchiness or the proverbial golden thread and gives the songs catchy choruses which singer Dave Lowes bawls perfectly to an imaginary audience.

“There’s a new rock n roll thunder coming from the land down under, and it goes by the name CROSSON “ (Josh Smith – Hair Band Heaven)
Following the success of their acclaimed 2018 album ‘Invincible’, which spent an incredible ten consecutive weeks in the Top 30 Official German Rock and Metal Charts and was voted Sleaze’s Nation’s # 2 album of 2018, Australian based Theatrical Glam Rock Warriors, CROSSON, return in 2020 with their new album Rock ‘N Roll Love Affair.
“9/10. You will find a small treasure chest full of pearls here, where you immediately feel reminded of the genre’s heyday.” (Metal Only 16 March 2020)
The album was once again mixed by legendary U.S producer Duane Baron (Ozzy Osbourne, Motley Crue, Alice Cooper, Poison), mastered by U.S mastering legend Dave Donnelly (Aerosmith, KISS, Whitesnake) , and engineered by Aussie veteran Russell Pilling (The Vines, Hoodoo Gurus)
Rock ‘N Roll Love Affair punches you in the face from the opening chords and erupts with ten infectiously catchy, highly addictive rock tunes. The only cure to get these songs out of your head will need to be medically prescribed.
The album also includes electrifying performances by some of Australia’s leading rock / metal musicians, including Stu Marshall (Death Dealer) and Dario Bortolin (Baby Animals).
“Rock ‘N Roll Love Affair is a matter for the heart of any lover of rock ‘n roll.….CROSSON have once again outdone themselves.” Peter Grahn – Sleaze Nation
The first video from the album ‘Everyone’s A Star’ depicts CROSSON doing what they do best…..unleashing their electrifying, energetic, choreographed and bombastic stage show whilst the second video ‘Weak At The Knees (For A Hot Brunette!!)’ (a crowd favourite) shows the groups tongue-in-cheek side.
When asked about ‘Weak At The Knees (For A Hot Brunette!!) vocalist , writer and producer Jason Crosson commented “There are too many songs about blondes. Its about time the brunettes around the world were celebrated……. Talk about art imitating life! I have two weaknesses, chocolate ice cream and beautiful brunettes… of which I have to refrain from both!!”
Rock N Roll Love Affair comes crashing from the stratosphere on 27 March 2020!!

Australian metal combo Shatter Brain are proud to announce that they have signed with Wormholedeath for the release of their album Pitchfork Justice. The video Talk In Fear was premiered yesterday at No Clean Singing.
Pitchfork Justice was recorded and mixed by Jimmy Balderston at Ghostnote Recording Studios (Scott Kelly, Sumeru, Space Bong) in Adelaide, and mastered by Dav Byrne at Iridium Audio (Witchskull, YLVA, Space Bong). All artwork and layouts were done by Adelaide local Steve Lehmann. Pitchfork Justice contains nine cohesive songs that are a unique blend of sludge metal, old-school thrash, and hardcore, with modern and diverse vocals. The production is lively and bombastic, as well as punchy and aggressive, and the lyrics make a strong statement about the current state of the world, particularly around social media and PC culture.
Shatter Brain state: “We are very excited to announce that we have partnered up with WormHoleDeath/Aural Music for the worldwide release of our debut album Pitchfork Justice on 1 May 2020! We’re stoked to be joining a diverse roster full of high-quality bands, including fellow Australians SUMERU and One Step Beyond. Norwegian Death Metallers Mental Disaster release the new video for their title track ‘The Repulsive Abomination’ from the upcoming album today. The album is streaming on all digital services NOW and will be released on Digipac CD on 10 April 2020 via Death To Music productions.
The Repulsive Abomination is a heavy mix of groove-based Death Metal, punishing technical drumming, guttural vocals and traditional Death Metal themes. This is a great blend of what we term the ‘Scandinavian’ sound crossed with Deicide, Slayer and classic Morbid Angel. To quote one of the reviews: “The band performs first-class death metal turned into a black, misanthropic, cannibalistic, blasphemous outcome with the antithesis being that the end result is great for the fans of this genre.
Mental Disaster are: Bernt Sørensen – Guitar Jan Åge Lindeland – Vocals Bengt Orstad – Bass David Olsen – Drums
Mental Disaster hails from the southern part of Norway, also known as the ‘Bible belt’, but do not be fooled – this is in no way a ‘bible group’! They were formed back in 2011 by the four present members. They have released two full-length albums, Let the Demon Speak in 2013 and Raping the Symbol of Humanity in 2016. The press wrote about Raping the Symbol of Humanity: “Raping the Symbol of Humanity first surprises or even shocks with the offensive cover artwork especially for those most sensitive to religious topics. The music on the 10 tracks featured in a bit over half an hour of playing time, is a brutal, fast and aggressive Thrash Metal heavily influenced by Death Metal”.
