Metal United World Wide: Save The Date 2020

After 2 successful rounds of MUWW (Metal United World Wide) with 400 bands and around 40 countries participating both times, the MUWW team could agree on a new date for 2020. Taking into consideration Ramadan, European Festival Summer and a number of other major happenings around the world, MUWW has moved (pun intended) to September. Brace yourselves for MUWW number three on 19 September 2020.

For those who would like to catch up on the shows they missed, we have compiled a youtube playlist with recorded live streams or videos from a range of countries. On our Facebook page, we shared a large number of videos, photos and reviews. Finally, the lists of shows, participating bands and partners can be found on our website www.metal-united-world-wide.com

The Metal United World Wide team has started preparations for the third round. If you want to be part as a organiser, media partner or supporter – let us know. Don’t forget, it’s a community project and everybody can participate and contribute.

So on 19 September 2020 we’ll hear the MUWW motto from everywhere in this world yet another time:
United We Stand, Divided We Fall! \m/

Incrypt: Melbourne thrashers team up with Perth’s All This Filth for W.A. run of shows

Melbourne Melodic Thrash Metal band Incrypt and Perth industrial groove act All This Filth are set to team up for a double run of shows in Western Australia this November. The tour will take in Amplifier Bar in Perth on November 8th and the Indi Bar in Bunbury on November 9th.

This will be Incrypt’s first time on the west coast and comes off the recent release of their brand new animated video for the song Hordes of Hades. The band comment on the tour: “We are stoked to be touring WA for the first time!

Incrypt are a 5 piece melodic thrash metal band from Melbourne, established in 2000 but have been consistently active since 2010. They have released 3 albums, most recently Eyes Upon This World in 2017. The new video for “Hordes Of Hades”, which can be seen below, was animated by Balázs Gróf who has been responsible for other metal animation clips for such acts as Obituary, Red Fang, Blind Myself and many more. The song has been taken from their latest album Eyes Upon This World.

All This Filth also announce a brand new video for the track “Drowning” which comes off their latest album “Misery Season” released on March 29th 2019. This will be the band’s first full video feature and will be released ahead of the tour in November.

On the song and upcoming video for “Drowning”, frontman Brendan Preston comments: “Drowning is basically about my terrible mental state. It’s about Depression and the feeling of constantly being dragged below the surface and rising again, only to be hit by another wave. Its relentless. It’s just life for anyone, but made much harder when you’re suffering from a mental illness. I think a lot of people can relate and connect to the song and that’s why we’ve decided to do this as our first video clip for the “Misery Season” album.”

All This Filth‘s most recent album “Misery Season” gained a West Australia Music Award nomination earlier in the year for the track “This Is Misery”, their second nomination in the band’s career. These run of shows in W.A. will be part of a national tour which more dates will be announced soon.
